Description
It was back in the 70s. She's a schoolgirl, I'm a military musician. A simple, bright friendship. Years have passed, many faces have been erased from memory, but her image has remained vivid: a wonderful musician, a sensitive friend whom you remember despite time.
This play is my return to that era and to those feelings.
• Entry is uncertainty and wariness, it's your first time in a foreign country, and so was the shyness of new acquaintances.
• Next comes the full power of the "big band orchestra" - that's how the 70s themselves sounded: intense, loud, full of life.
• The two major, flying themes are youth itself, passion, and the lightness of that friendship.
• And the finale brings us back to the theme of the introduction — to alertness in adulthood, which, however, is already warmed by memories of the past.
It's not just music. This is a thank you to the person who remained in our memory, and to the era that shaped us.
